Bouncing it to the TRKS stem is probably the easiest way to do it. Good job!

Thanks Scott,

Yes I own the rights. I wrote this song when I was 16 (in 1974) when EVEL KNIEVEL was at the height of his career and I was a fledgeling guitar player hungry for attention. :-) I've been working with REAPER since making the first post here and have created all of the stems.

Here is the new master wav (rendered with REAPER) of my arrangement for RB.

http://www.braddavisrevue.com/evel_master.wav

I have played everything in this, and am performing all of the vocals as well.

Is there a way to combine 2 seperate stems into one? I've got the vocal harmony I wish to combine with the TRKS stem. Or do I simply need to bounce it to the TRKS stem for the final render?

Hey Brad, I really like the song! It has the potential to be a really fun Rock Band track. I'd say as long as you own all the rights to it, there's no reason it shouldn't make it into the store (don't hold me to that though...obviously there's no telling what the approval process will be like).

Stems are separate audio tracks so as long as you have the recommended configuration of tracks (kick, snare, guitar, etc), you'll be all set.

We'll keep updating this site with tips so keep checking back and spread the word! Thanks for stopping by and good luck!

Hey guys, I am anxiously awaiting for the RBN to come online. I am not much of a writer, just been a player most of my 51 years. But, for my first attempt at RBN, here is the piece I wish to produce.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7IUKyDkDig

What do you think? I have downloaded and installed REAPER and the RB plugins, I simply need to re-record this piece into seperate tracks. Most of the arrangement was created using a midi keyboard. I added the bass guitar and am playing the lead part live in the video. But, this is a easy fix to simply play back the midi and seperate the tracks in REAPER. It is my understanding that a stem is nothing more than a single audio track in REAPER correct?

At any rate, I might need to some help along the way and am looking for some support.
